The Year of Return

Immerse yourself in Ghana's rich culture, often considered a spiritual and self-reflective experience. We'll walk the same grounds as our ancestors at El Mina Castle where we'll go through the Door of No Return, the departure point where our ancestors were hoarded onto slave ships never to return. And we'll come back through the now renamed Door of Return, honoring and reclaiming the diaspora's collective experience.

Ghana has its own unique culture among the 54 countries of Africa. Of course the best way to learn about a culture is to experience it for yourself. Our tour guide will take you to visit a craft village where you'll witness wood carving and adinkra artisans. You'll delight in the indulgences of Ghanaian cuisine and shop the lively and colorful markets. Explore the lush rain forest at Kakum National Park on the the canopy walk. These are just a few of the ways you'll discover Ghana!
